"You won't be judged by what you amass—intellect, technology, assets. You will be judged by the character of how you treat the poor, the condemned, the tortured, the humiliated, the incarcerated." To have to stand by and watch how the people now in control of my country, the United States, are destroying it, is extremely difficult.
At all times, it's the humans who do evil and we must judge them by who they're-character. And not what they possess as they claim to be; while they possess the might to topple anything in their favor, I hope the diversity of voices you enjoy presently will be your first and last line of defense. Thank you for supporting me throughout. Merry Christmas to you
Thank you Fay for such kind words. In times of heartlessness, empathy heals more than drugs. Together with you, I will always shine light on wherever there is darkness.

Salient sentiments and a reminder that the only thing we can change is ourselves and the only things for which we are responsible is what we choose to believe and what we do to others.
We humans, to lesser and greater degrees, have a conscience and that is the dynamic for our division into what is right and what is wrong. When we call something right but our conscience knows that it is wrong, we must fight and deny ever harder to hold our chosen ground. It is the path to madness and to evil but it is a common path for many.
This is a remarkable entry, Edwin. Your worldview is enlightening…a bright light in a very dark world. Thank you!
Thank you Elizabeth for reading and encouraging. I wholeheartedly appreciate. Merry Christmas to you

God bless you, Edwin, in this New Year. I can only pray that my country does not collapse into a fascist dictatorship.
The US committed a genocide to steal this land. Nothing has changed.
Bingo.
This is the most beautiful, heartfelt post I have read in years, Edwin. Your compassion and empathy, are outstanding in a world filled with greed.

Thank you Rosyn. It will be great pleasure. Merry Christmas to you
It's not evil. It's psychopaths holding the reigns of power. They have names and addresses😈 They're just people.
